Dog Boarding
Your dog is something special, purebred or puremutt your dog is great and a perfect friend and companion. If you need someone to relieve that stress after an unusually hard week, he or she is there. Just need someone to entertain you for awhile, yup there too. Truth is for as long as man can remember the dog has been there as a friend, worker, confidant and admirer to us. No other animal has been or ever will be as loyal to us as the dog is. So ask yourself how you treat your dog in return? Yes you can and should purchase high quality food and snacks for your dog, walk regularly and make sure Fido receives a high level of stimulation and activity throughout the day. However, when you go on an extended business trip or vacation what do you do? Do you leave him at home; maybe have the neighbor kid look after him? Drop him off at a dog boarding kennel? Those are not bad options, but they might not be your best option.
Consider your dog in either case, is he extra friendly and enjoys human interaction? Being alone for long periods may not work well, so considering a boarding kennel may be a great idea. Does your dog like other dogs or does he prefer his time without his other four-leg friends? In either case a dog boarding kennel may be a great option. Today you can find pet suites, dog hotels, dog bed and breakfast, well you get the picture. Most major cities now offer options for your dog, some that provide some pretty awesome activities for him. Swimming, massages, individual human playtime or group playtime with the other dogs are all options. During rest time they can sleep in a very comfortable setting, unlike the dreary cement settings of yesteryear. Dog stress happens, so providing the best setting for your best friend can improve his mood and rejuvenate him. Take a look around your city, do a tour of some of the new dog kennels and you may just want to put on a dog suit and curl up in a ball and take a nap. These are not our fathers dog kennels, you will be glad you took the tour and so will your dog. You may also be surprised at how economical some of these places are. The dog messages will be extra and you may decide not to do it, after all there is no reason for his vacation to be better than yours.
